S.H.A.R.P. has given over $150,000 in grants over the past four years.  Our October 28 meeting  featured speakers from three of the ten organizations that received a grant from S.H.A.R.P. this year.  Attendees found out about the interesting and varied projects they pursue.

Center for Harm Reduction Therapy, City Youth Now, and the Garden for the Environment.

Last was a presentation from U.C.S.F  regarding their future expansion plans and public meetings regarding those plans.

Judith Dold, a professional organizer from Twilight Organizing, gave four easy-to-remember steps to SHARP members who were overwhelmed by the possessions they have accumulated: STOP

Woody LeBounty entertained a full house at SHARP with the history of the Midwinter Fair of 1894.

Our first speaker was Mr. Daniel Homsey informing the group about Resilient Inner Sunset.   Our second speaker was Noelle Duong from Recology. Ms. Duong gave us an overview of the things that Recology is doing to recycle

Michael Meehan entertained SHARP members for 90 minutes with stories of starting out in stand up comedy and growing up in the Sunset.
