Sandra Meyer, a long-time SHARP member and supporter, died on August 3, 2017. We send our condolences to husband Burt (a former SHARP Board member) and to the rest of the Meyer family.

The photo shows Sandra and Burt at the SHARP winter solstice party in 2013. They were married for 51 years and lived in the neighborhood since 1970. A gerontologist, Sandra gave a presentation at SHARP in 2012 about how seniors can protect themselves against fraud.  She liked to roam the neighborhood, shopping and visiting friends, and she helped to make it a better place. We will miss her. Sandra’s obituary appeared in the Chronicle.
