Sandra Meyer, M.A. Gerontology, described types of
investment frauds and scams currently identified by our local police precinct.  Sandra Meyer is an experienced R.S.V.P. Project S.A.F.E. volunteer. She has made numerous presentations describing local scams, identity theft techniques, and ways to avoid them.
We learned how to protect our investments, be an informed consumer, and “check before you invest.”  She handed out the California Department of Corporations’ valuable booklet, “Protect Yourself from Investment Fraud”
