In the past, SHARP meetings were held at our building on 9th Avenue, but a s of March 2020, due to CoVid-19 we have had to suspend our live meetings and have been using ZOOM to do online meetings. Watch this site for meeting information or sign up for our e-mail list on this site. We often do more than one meeting a month and on various days of the week.
Many of the Zoom meeting videos can be viewed on the SHARP Facebook page. There are also audio recordings of many meetings in the past meetings area of the SHARP web site

SOLUTIONS TO THE HOME INSURANCE CRISIS?
Thursday, July 16, 2026
California’s home insurance system is collapsing. When home insurance fails, families can lose the ability to protect their homes, qualify for mortgages, or recover after fire, storm, or other disasters. Some homeowners will have to pay far more or go uninsured.
Patrick Wolff will speak to us July 17 on California’s home insurance crisis, the case for reform, and maybe building a coalition for change. Patrick Wolff is our neighbor and a financial analyst who built a home-and-auto insurance brokerage. He ran for California Insurance Commissioner in the June election. Find out how the insurance crisis impacts you, and get your questions answered.
WHERE: SHARP clubhouse, 1736-9th Avenue (cross street: Moraga)
