Our August meeting speaker was Mr. Patrick Wolff.  With a broad background in finance, Mr. Wolff gave a full house of SHARP members and guests a solid overview of how the San Francisco city budget is constructed, where the money comes from, and where it goes.

With an 11 billion dollar budget, million dollar items begin to look small but they add  up quickly.  We learned the one of the big issues in the future will be the funding of city employee pensions.
